We are delighted to announce that Elizabeth Burgess has joined Bridges’ US team as Partner and Head of US Sustainable Growth Funds.

Elizabeth is a highly-regarded private equity investor and leader with over 25 years’ experience in the lower middle-market. She has a strong track record of leading transactions and delivering above-market returns to investors, while also building outstanding teams and excellent intermediary relationships. Most recently she was the co-founder and Senior Partner of Altus Capital Partners, a specialist lower middle-market investor focused on investing in North American industrial growth businesses. She previously worked at Bank of America, GE Capital and Chase Manhattan, where she specialized in middle-market lending.

Elizabeth says: “I’ve spent my entire career working with high-potential businesses in the lower middle-market, helping them to grow. What excites me about Bridges is being able to use this experience to help companies that are tackling some of our biggest social and environmental challenges.
