We are delighted to announce that Hackney Community Transport (HCT), a Social Entrepreneurs Fund-backed business, has won the Social Enterprise Overall Winner at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2015. CEO Dai Powell was also one of 15 business leaders to be honoured as a Social Entrepreneur UK Winner.

Now in its 17th year in the UK, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme brings together many of the top business leaders of high-growth companies who are creating growth, confidence and generating a positive impact in society.

HCT is a social enterprise in the transport industry, safely providing over 20 million passenger trips on its buses every year. They deliver a range of transport services, from London red buses to school and community transport. They also offer a range of education and training programmes.
