The Hub pharmacy, a community pharmacy group backed by the Bridges Sustainable Growth Fund III, has continued its buy-and-build strategy by acquiring its 11th site: the Market Street, Hyde branch of HBS Pharmacy.
The branch is an excellent fit within the Hub group as it already offers a number of community-focused health services. Under its new ownership, it will be substantially refurbished and its IT systems upgraded. All existing staff have been retained and new staff will be recruited as part of a new growth strategy.
Steve Jeffers, CEO of the Hub pharmacy, said of the new site: “We will further build on the excellent foundations created by the previous owner of the Hyde pharmacy. As with all our acquisitions, we will use our expertise to develop a wider range of pharmacy services for all the patients of Hyde.”
