Bridges Insights is the knowledge and advisory arm of the Bridges Group. Its mission is to support the growth of sustainable and impact investing through selected research and client advisory projects, drawing on Bridges’ two decades of practical experience of investing for impact.

Bridges Insights was launched in 2012 (originally as Impact+), with a focus on three key areas:

  • advocating for a favourable policy environment
  • shaping impact measurement and management standards, and;
  • upskilling practitioners and investors.

Insights’ most significant initiative to date has been the Impact Management Project (IMP): a five-year effort to build global consensus (amongst practitioners and standard-setters) on how to measure, manage and report on impact. Although the IMP ended in 2021, its legacy continues through the work of the IFRS ISSB, the Impact Management Platform and Impact Frontiers.

Our Services

Today, Insights focuses on facilitating the flow of capital towards impactful enterprises in two ways:

  • Supporting asset owners and their advisors to design and implement impact allocation strategies in line with both their impact and financial goals, using widely accepted standards.
  • Research and analysis to explore emerging thematic issues and innovative impact investment models
